Simon's radio experience began when he went into the BBC with his father as a child and when his father moved to Downtown radio and then left radio broadcasting to pursue a successful career in PR. Simon followed in his footsteps. Presenting a show first on Hospital Radio then working part time for Downtown radio as a newsroom assistant. And then presenting a 2 hour chat show on XLFM the radio station from Bangor tech while all the time still working for hospital radio. Simon show is still as energetic and original as ever.
